Ed's Crankshafts is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the greater Bay Area since 1976. Our firm sells many different makes of OEM crankshafts both rare and common. We have the tooling and experience to handle the full range of crankshaft grinding. We also stock related parts.
All foreign and Domestic crankshafts are precision ground to high, middle, or low limits upon request. Custom ground shafts for High Performance needs can be accommodated, please
call for more information. (Nitriting is recommended and provided upon request). Ed's also specializes in L.A. Billet, Keith Black and Crowler racing crankshaft repairing and reconditioning.

Magnaflux testing is provided for locating shaft defects in the form of inclusions, cracks, heat, tears, quenching cracks and crankshaft fatigue.
Submerged Arc Welding
Worn crankshaft journals are brought back up to standard or next grindable size with S.V Kota-Weld submerged arc welding machinery designed for welding journals on all types of shafts from 1 1/4" through 8" in diameter and all types of thrusts in order to obtain maximum results.
